Just a little note about ATC and Card swaps.

Hello ladies, I just want to put a very BIG reminder in here about a few things for our swaps.

As most of you are aware, once you sign up to complete and then send these, you have a number of people counting on you to actually complete them and get them posted to me by the end of each mont. It is unfair for those that actually get them done and posted in the correct time frame, but then have to wait to get them back. I am aware that everyone runs busy lives, so if for some reason, you do sign up then a little later on down the track you find out that you cannot complete in the time frame, then please just let me know, so that I can advise the others. Also just in regards to prestamped and pre-addressed envelopes, I am just finding that most of us are making both ATC and Cards with bit raised and layered, etc and when there are say 5 cards all raised, then they are not fitting in a normal sized envelope and encur more postage. So it might be easier to just put it in (i think it is a ) A5 envelope, 2 stamps, (as I find most of the time that is sufficient). Thanks for your understanding and I do hope you all continue, cause I love all the cards and atc's!!!

I am soooo loving these swaps too! But I certainly agree with Amanda, that it is really disppointing to have to wait for them to come back, because people cant make the timeframe, particularly when mine have been sent around the middle of the month. The theme is usually set in the month before, giving at least 5 weeks for them to be completed in. I for one will certainly be continuing on in these swaps and look forward to others joining in.

I agree with Manda and Bel. its easy to remove yourself from the list if needed. I have loved the ones I have been in so far.

BUT

I was wondering if the March card and ATC swap had been sent back yet as I haven't received these.

Littlemissd, Virginia and I got our cards last week (Wed), but no sign of the ATC's yet, I'm not sure if they have been posted, may be waiting for some to still arrive???? Will just have to wait for Manda to let us know where they are up to. Also I'm thinking the April cards may not arrive in time for us to give out for this Sunday, Manda could you let us know where they are upto to please?

I posted march today, as I was waiting for more to come out! I have still got aprils cause I am waiting on virginia's still, i can post them tomorrow if u like!! I am sorry, but like i said I can only do what is given to me! Also, I just posted march's and most of the smaller envelopes i had to put an extra stamp on them, so like i said before, if you could put 2 stamps on a A5 envelope I think it will be better! let me know what you would like me to do??

I'm not waiting on the April cards, I've got others, but other people in the swap may be. I'm happy to wait until they all come in. 
For my May cards and ATC, I have put a small envelope in with 1 stamp as I thought 4 ATC's would fit in two piles side by side for that price. I also put in an A5 envelope with 2 stamps for the cards, but have posted them all in the same envelope. It's up to you whether you post them back to me altogether or separate.

Maybe the few of us who are doing it regularly, could send you a booklet of stamps to cover any months that require extra stamps. Or prehaps we purchase a $5 or $10 credit in the store to cover postage and just send an envelope, or pay you 20cents or whatever it works out to be and you supply an A5 envelope, or do you think this will be too hard to keep track of?

Yes you do need to tell us if we all send a booklet of stamps is 10 stamps or you can get a booklet of 20 and then when you are running low tell us and will send another lot.

With the cards I send a c5 pocket premium envelope with 1.200 that was what the last lot weigh on the envelope to return to me and the other one that is to go to you but thinking maybe 1.50 if its bulky.

AtC's I usually put 2 stamps on an A4 long envelope.

i will keep a record of it from now!! but because some of the ATC's and Cards are raised or have embellies, the postie guy needed to put an extra on most of them! So like i said, from now on if you could just use a A5 for the cards with 2 stamps (i think they were ok) and for the atc's if u want to still send the smaller envelope, just put 2 stamps on it! hopefully then that will be ok, unless obviously if we get more people doing them!!
