Sounds sily, but does any one have any interesting recipes for steak?
We just cook it on the BBQ most of the time ... marinate it first.

The other day, I had some Y-Bone and sprinkled French Onion soup on top, wrapped it all up in foil and baked in the oven. It was delicious!! Expect hubby didn't like it Sad

So ... anyone else have some EASY (LOL) recipes for steak??

Not really a great steak eater but I have a recipe

If you have a crockpot you can use it but as I haven't going to invest in one though Smile

Brown both sides of the meat
Add onion, water and tomato.(however much you think will need) (I just throw whatever in that I have on hand)
Turn stove onto low and put lid on saucepan
It will take 2 hours .

Hope this helps

This is one of my all time favourites!
I'm actually thinking of doing this for a dinner guest we have coming in a few weeks, simple and tasty - I think I can manage that.

YUM! I often coat my chicken drumsticks in a flour/French onion soup mix but have never done it on chops, but after Chloe and Megans comments, I decided to do it for dinner tonight and YUM! When I was preparing them my hubby's goes "well your getting pretty fancy, crumbing them". All of us were looking for more, we thought it was that yummy. The only test now will be with my super fussy 5year old who was having dinner and a sleepover at his grandparents place. Though a recipe that 4 out of the 5 of us like is a success in my books, there are very few recipes that all 5 of us like.
